This summer, INVINCIBLE® partners with ASICS on the GEL-NIMBUS10.1, reimagining the legacy running model through a lens of purposeful disruption and refined chaos.

Dubbed “HTTP 404” the project introduces a design language rarely seen on the GEL-NIMBUS line—an intentional nod to absence, misalignment, and the beauty of what feels incomplete. In this edition, INVINCIBLE continues its exploration of irregularity and deconstruction, challenging convention while respecting the shoe’s technical roots.

ASICS’s familiar color palette is preserved but filtered through a deliberately unfinished aesthetic. The iconic ASICS stripes are deconstructed and extended, flowing beyond the upper onto the midsole with loose threads left hanging—evoking a work in progress, paused mid-creation. Subtle tonal differences between the lateral and medial sides create a quiet asymmetry, offering shifting impressions from different angles. This understated disruption encourages each wearer to define their own visual narrative.

Furthering the concept, a semi-translucent ripstop toe box allows the wearer’s sock color—or even skin tone—to become part of the design, blurring the line between object and expression. To emphasize the distinctive toe box shape, the ASICS spiral logo is placed in alignment with its natural curve, resulting in a subtle but intentional asymmetry between left and right shoes. Together, these elements underscore the collaboration’s central theme: embracing the unfinished, the irregular, and the uniquely personal.
