Gel-Lyte III OG

The GEL-LYTE™ III OG sneaker emerges once again with its original shape and tooling that it featured in the early 1990s. Designed by Shigeyuki Mitsui in 1990, the GEL-LYTE™ III silhouette retains its iconic split-tongue formation. It was a feature that initially debuted on the GEL-LD RACER™ shoe. Meanwhile, key components, like its signature GEL® technology unit in the midsole, provide everyday comfort.

Retaining the premium pigskin suede overlays and tumbled leather panels reminiscent of the early 90s, the entirety of the supple upper construction is cast in a uniform tint that evokes imagery of clay planting pots. Color matches strike the laces, heel clip and the heel’s set embroidered logos, further composing the from the earth aesthetic. A sandy “Dune” shade anchors the entirety of the midsole while the tread underfoot executes a striking clad-blue treatment in contrast to the tonal neutral upper.
