Space Hippie is a story of trash transformed. From the upper to the outsole, Space Hippie 01 is made of at least 50% recycled material by weight. Its ‘Space Waste Yarn’ upper includes about 85% recycled polyester made from recycled plastic bottles, t-shirts and yarn scraps. A soft, Crater Foam midsole combines Nike Grind with a blend of foams for stability and a unique aesthetic, while the shoe's insole is made from ZoomX foam scraps, the same cushioning that creates the ultimate ride in Nike’s NEXT% running shoes.
Made from Space Waste Yarn and approximately 85% recycled materials, the FlyKnit upper is lightweight, stretchy, and soft.
The bootie-like construction helps create a snug, comfortable fit that forms to your foot.
Nike Grind rubber and Crater foam underfoot feel soft and add speckles of color for a 1-of-a-kind look and feel. The recycled insole feels like a new bed for your foot.
The stitched on webbing at the eyestays and embroidered Swoosh design create a modern aesthetic and add to the deconstructed design.
The updated Waffle outsole design adds Nike heritage with a modern twist.
The pinwheel logo lets you know this shoe is made from at least 50% recycled materials.
