The collection is built around two silhouettes that BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS director Masafumi Watanabe has loved since his teenage years, the Authentic and the Half Cab, both rendered in a deep, indigo-like dark navy.
The inspiration traces back to a pair of Vans sneakers that Watanabe customized himself using bandanas he wore as a teenager. Following the collaborative collections of 2021 and 2023, this third chapter once again features the duo’s signature bandana graphic.Traditional textile construction meets a distinctive cutting technique by slicing along the bandana’s varying seam lines, each pair yields a one-of-a-kind pattern. No two are alike. The result is a collection defined by an exceptional level of detail and craftsmanship.
Where previous installments explored a range of colorways, this collection takes a more focused approach: a single dark navy across both silhouettes. The tonal combination of deep indigo-like navy and matching bandana fabric is understated yet unmistakably present.
