Nike and Tom Sachs continue to evolve the General Purpose Shoe with a new “Black” colorway, marking the next phase of their revived partnership. After the recent return of their collaboration and restocks of earlier releases, the utilitarian silhouette now arrives with a refined material upgrade.
This latest iteration swaps the familiar knit and synthetic construction for a structured perforated leather upper, giving the shoe a more elevated and durable feel. A stealthy black base sets the tone, contrasted by crisp white accents on the Swoosh and heel tab. Subtle Team Royal pull tabs add a restrained pop of color, breaking up the monochrome palette without overpowering the design.
