In 2025, INVINCIBLE® and ASICS reimagined an iconic running silhouettewith the GEL-NIMBUS 10.1. Building on that vision, the two brands reunite in 2026, joined by menswear brand MADNESS, to introduce the trio's first collaboration: the GEL-KAYANO 12.1.
Bringing together INVINCIBLE®'s cultural perspective, ASICS's performance heritage, and MADNESS's refined take on vintage sportswear, the collaboration reinterprets a classic running silhouette through a contemporary lens.
Inspired by the fusion of urban running and outdoor exploration, the design references the layered textures of dolomite rock, expressed through an intricate combination of ten materials. Translucent mesh, layered construction, and tactile finishes create a raw, unfinished aesthetic while maintaining lightweight breathability.
Signature ASICS elements—including zigzag stitching, woven labels, and contrasting accents—are complemented by a muted natural color palette that evokes a calm, vintage-inspired character. As the first collaboration between the three brands, the GEL-KAYANO 12.1 reflects a shared vision that seamlessly blends performance, heritage, and contemporary design.
